What is included in a custom session?
Pre-session phone or text consult
After booking, we’ll set up a quick call to go over the basics- the type of shoot, what to expect from the process, and get started on planning.
In person pre-session planning session
This is the key to a perfect session! We’ll meet up for coffee or ice cream and get to know each other and compare ideas. When your session rolls around, we’ll be old friends- no nerves! Bring your vision boards and we will chat about your style, favorite locations, outfit ideas, props, and poses that really show off your personality. Not sure what you want? I can take the reins and put together all of the ideas to show you- all you’ll need to do is approve or decline.
Pre-session location scouting
A week or so before your session, I’ll visit the location and check for any obstacles (construction, poison ivy, bugs, etc), lighting, and find the best spots for your vision. I’ll plan the perfect session schedule so that every second of your session is used to create amazing images.
Day of Session
On the big day, I arrive early to double-check everything and set up. I’ll bring your favorite snacks (yes, snacks!). Forgot something? I come prepared with extras, from lint rollers to lip balm. Just bring your outfits, your energy, and anyone you want by your side- your bestie, your fam, or both.
Session Fee
The session fee is included in every package- no additional charges or hidden fees.
Travel
Travel up to 30 miles is included in package pricing. Locations further than 30 miles may incur additional mileage fees.
Gallery of high-quality images
You’ll receive a gallery of high quality to make your selections from (the total number is based on your package). You can choose to view a digital gallery or set up an in person reveal, which helps with proof selection.
Full Release
Your photos should be yours to print however you’d like. I can submit your prints to a professional printer for high quality prints, or you can print them anywhere you’d like.
When should you book your senior session?
You can book up to two years in advance, so don’t wait — the best dates go fast.
To keep every portfolio unique, I only work with a few students per school each year:
1A schools: 1 boy, 1 girl
2A schools: 2 boys, 2 girls
3A schools: 3 boys, 3 girls
And so on….
Once those slots are filled, that’s it.
Where are you located?
I am based out of Conway, Missouri, and can travel to sessions in the Springfield, Lake of the Ozarks, Lebanon, St. Robert, and Rolla areas. Travel within 30 miles of zip code 65632 is included in package pricing, but additional travel options are available.
